Philosophy of a Painter Geared towards intermediate to experienced artists who are looking to further develop their practice, this class is mix between a critique session, artist support group, and open work environment. The instructor will introduce open ended prompts designed for the individual artists to make an artwork in response to over the course of several studio sessions. The group will also engage in discussions about art making, art history, and other considerations intrinsic to painters. There are social, spiritual, and philosophical sides to art making, all of which this class hopes to consider and discuss.
